      The following article of the
      History of the Belton Christian
      Church was read at their specidal
      Sunday service and is printed by
      request of many of our readers
      -----
      Today give this Church an ex-
      cellent opportunity to pass before
      its review some Heroes and Hero-
      ines of our home front, of the
      Christian rank, who whould be ex-
      pecially rememered on this occa-
      sion. The immortality of a great
      deed can never be over exaggera-
      ated. The history and develop-
      ment of this Church, with a sum-
      mary of its achievements is now
      available. We have oftern heard
      it said, that Egypts riches are due
      to the overflowing of the Nile.
      How true this is and how aplic-
      able it is to this Church, today.
      Our forefathers have bequeathed
      unto this Congreation a rich hr-
      itage due to the overflowing of
      the Divine grace of the follow-
      ing Charter members; John G
