    • I was lucky enough to meet Charlotte. She was lively, funny and talked and looked very much like her sister Georga although they weren’t raised together. Talked about her experiences in France during WWI where she lived with her stepfather and worked in his acrobatics troop, her mother having returned to the States without her. Took the umbrella out of her drink and put it in her hair like it was the natural thing to do and kept talking. She said that Kate was the one in the family who most resembled Twyla. She seemed to find the resemblance quite striking. -tkp

      Mrs. Biggs was born July 25, 1913, in Neosho, and was a lifetime area resident and homemaker.
      She married Wayne Biggs on Aug. 9, 1930, in Neosho. He died Dec. 29, 1988.
      Survivors include three sons, Leo Biggs, Neosho, Walter Biggs, Joplin, and Billy Biggs, Olathe, Kan.; three sisters, Georgia Hamby, Cameron, and Florine Rouse and Billie Gailey, both of Neosho; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
      Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Woodard-Freund-Thompson Funeral Home, Neosho, with the Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Neosho.
      Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
      Visitation will be 3 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
      Contributions may be made to Abundant Life Assembly of God building fund in care of the funeral home.
