||A divorce decree for Aaron & Speedy Cox is noted in the Chancery Records of|
It reads ......In July 1845 they were married and had one child. When re-
turning from a visit to her mother.......She has heard he was at his
father's in Claiborne Co and also went to to the Mexican War.....Divorce
granted Feb 1850
As I said they were returning from a visit to her mother. "he was riding her horse and
carrying the child she walking - at a road fork he laid the child in the lap of a girl
in the rod and said he would find a place to live upon. She wanted him to come
home but off he went. It has been 3 yrs and she has not seen him since......."
